One of our favorite parts about working on an entire home design is getting to know our clients so well through the process. We were able to get even more time with the incredible clients for this Clear Lake home, we were also simultaneously designing their Clive, IA home. Both projects turned out stunning — in large part to the complete trust they gave us when it came to color combinations, pattern pairing and coastal nods through decor and furnishings.
MBI takes on projects of any size but we especially love an entire home renovation or build. Creating cohesion from one room to the next while also giving a uniquely defined personality to each is a beautiful puzzle we love to solve. This lake home features natural textures in lighting, surfaces and wallpaper. These layered textures incorporate the lakeside environment of the home. For color, we chose shades of blue, green and orange. The rich colors are balanced with natural light, neutral walls, and white furnishings/cabinets. Patterned upholstery and pillows give the lake home dimension, vibrancy and an elevated aesthetic.
