Designed in collaboration with Strahan Construction, this full-service project allowed us to dream big from the very first build selections all the way through the final layers of furnishings. Our clients, a young and wonderfully busy family, wanted a space that felt classic, warm, and beautifully livable. From a color-drenched den to a luminous living room and an elegant, hardworking kitchen, every space is designed to carry this family through years of memories, gatherings, and everyday moments.

A Warm, Elegant Provençal Kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of this home, and we wanted it to feel both grounded and gracious—perfect for a young family that loves to gather. Warm wood tones anchor the space, paired with a soft, creamy plaster hood that adds that unmistakable Provençal charm. The striking black range becomes a true focal point, bringing a touch of modern elegance while nodding to classic European craftsmanship. We kept the palette intentionally quiet so the details—like the tailored pendant, the marble backsplash, and the texture of the island stools—could shine. It’s a kitchen made for slow Sunday breakfasts, busy weeknight dinners, and the happiest holiday hosting.

Stylish & Smart

The pantry and mudroom are a showstopper in this home. The black-and-white checkered marble floor, deep green cabinetry, and mural-inspired Thibaut wallpaper create a space that’s both striking and sophisticated. Brass chandeliers add a bold, statement-making touch, while the room remains highly functional—a perfect blend of style and practicality. We absolutely adore this space!

Timeless Comfort

The living room is a showstopper with its soaring ceilings and two-story balcony. Elegant arch built-ins with light oak shelves and beadboard frame a grand cast stone fireplace, creating a stately focal point. Classic, comfortable furniture upholstered in performance fabrics invites relaxation, while a large, dark wood cocktail table anchors the space. Decorative pillows in floral patterns, including soft mauve tones, add warmth and personality, and the rug, with its intricate design, perfectly complements the blue chairs, tying the whole room together beautifully.

A Jewel-Box Powder Bath

In a home filled with soft, neutral tones, the powder bath offered the perfect moment to introduce a touch of drama. We wrapped the space in a stunning green-and-gold mural that feels both elegant and quietly adventurous—just enough color to surprise, yet timeless enough to belong. Antique glass sconces cast the most beautiful glow, playing off the brass plumbing and the furniture-inspired vanity for a layered, collected feel. One of our favorite details is the ceiling: a wallpaper with subtle rivet detailing that adds texture and a hint of whimsy overhead. This little room may be small, but it delivers extraordinary charm—an elevated, classic retreat that pushes the boundaries in all the right ways.

Color Drenched

The den is drenched in a rich, gorgeous green, creating a cozy yet vibrant retreat. A fireplace, brass chandelier, and leather furniture make the space both elegant and comfortable. Perfectly situated off the entry, it’s a versatile spot for work, curling up with a book, or enjoying the morning newspaper. French doors add a touch of charm while providing privacy and quiet when needed.

The Perfect Setting

The dining room is the perfect balance of elegance and ease, ideal for hosting holiday dinners or enjoying a casual family meal. A classic table and chairs, complemented by upholstered host chairs, create a timeless look, while the buffet with mirror and lamps adds charm and sophistication. The beaded light fixture brings just the right touch of sparkle without feeling overdone, and the soft green hue adds a hint of color while keeping the space warm and approachable.

Wellness Meets Style

The primary bathroom is a true retreat, thoughtfully designed around our clients’ needs. A sauna and steam shower fulfill their wellness dreams, while the copper tub steals the show with its stunning presence. Darker accents add warmth and a cozy layer, and thoughtful details like heated tile floors, abundant natural light, and plenty of storage make this space as functional as it is beautiful.
