Overview

Meghan Blum Interiors and House of Blum is looking for a thoughtful, detail-oriented Ecommerce Manager to lead and elevate our online retail experience. This role blends creativity with operational excellence—perfect for someone who loves beautiful interiors, storytelling through product, and building a seamless shopping experience from browse to box.​

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Merchandising

  • Maintain and update the ecommerce site to ensure a polished, on-brand, user-friendly experience.

  • Upload new products, write compelling descriptions, and ensure imagery is accurate and cohesive.

  • Merchandise product collections and category pages to reflect seasonal themes, priorities, and sales goals.

  • Ensure product details, inventory levels, and pricing are always accurate.

Content & Creative Coordination

  • Partner closely with marketing/design teams to plan product launches, homepage updates, seasonal stories, and promotions.

  • Coordinate product photography needs, including styling direction, shot lists, and scheduling.

  • Craft on-brand product descriptions, email copy, and digital assets that feel warm, genuine, and aligned with our interior style.

Customer Journey & Conversion

  • Analyze site performance, including conversion rates, traffic patterns, average order value, and customer behavior.

  • Identify opportunities to improve UX, site flow, and product visibility.

  • Manage promotions, discounts, and site updates tied to campaigns or events.

Inventory, Fulfillment & Operations

  • Maintain accurate inventory stock levels.

  • Monitor low inventory and initiate restock processes.

  • Manage order fulfillment and schedule shipping carrier drop offs with warehouse associates

  • Oversee all orders, lead times, and backorder communication.

  • Place dropshipping orders and ensure they get delivered to customers

Customer Experience & Support

  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customers have a clear, delightful shopping experience.

  • Assist in resolving complex order questions related to products, lead times, or site issues.

  • Maintain consistent, brand-aligned responses

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Regularly report on sales performance, bestsellers, traffic, site analytics, and growth opportunities.

  • Track campaign performance across email, social, and paid channels to guide future strategies.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Work with marketing to support email campaigns, product features, holiday promotions, and new arrival launches.

  • Help ensure all messaging across platforms is consistent, thoughtful, and reflective of our aesthetic and values.

  • Create compelling social media content to engage customers 

  • Manage social media content, scheduling, and engagement 

Qualifications

  • Experience in ecommerce management (preferably in home, lifestyle, or retail).

  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify).

  • Eye for design, visual merchandising, and brand voice.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.

  • Organized, efficient, and proactive with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate across creative, operations, and customer teams.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
