This time of year brings a new season, fresh beginnings, and busy schedules. We've compiled our most inspiring spaces to stay organized and keep your family in order. Let us know, which utilitarian space are you needing the most?!
a laundry system that makes drying a breeze
With designing utilitarian spaces, function is the upmost priority. Our client's wishlist included a countertop for folding and optimal drying space for air dry pieces. The contractor and I found these fantastic insets that are perfect for drying several pieces of clothing. It looks like a chic cabinet too from the view outside the doorway.
two different mudrooms, two different purposes
Larger mudrooms provide optimal opportunities for making it multi-purpose. For the mudroom on the left, we fit a hallway of cabinets for coats, a drop all zone with storage for dog leashes, a dog room, and powder bath. The flooring is durable and darker so it doesn't show dirt when trekking in through all seasons.
A small office sits near the mudroom (photos on the right). It's the perfect spot to complete a quick grocery list or prepare for a party. With plenty of storage, this could have easily been the main office in this home.
transforming a prep kitchen into an office and accessory haven
This client absolutely adores accessories and table settings- some are new and most are the special antiques she's collected over the years. We redesigned her pantry into a chic office with a pantry and table setting storage. She has an acrylic counter stool with a pink vinyl seat at counter height for her. The french tufted seat cushion is a beautiful detail that centers the space and allows for a comfy spot to rest and read a book!
