A Designer’s Take on Atlanta Market ✨🤍

Atlanta Market has quickly become one of my favorite stops each season, and this year was no exception. While High Point Market will always have a special place in my heart, the sheer scale can sometimes make it harder to slow down and focus on the details that truly finish a room. That is what I love most about Atlanta. It creates space to pause, look closely, and really take in what feels new and noteworthy.

Why Atlanta Feels Different

Instead of racing from one showroom to the next, Atlanta Market allows me to focus on one thing at a time. Whether it is discovering a brand I have not seen before, admiring a beautifully crafted accessory, or spotting a finishing piece that quietly completes a space, the pace feels more intentional.

That slower rhythm makes it easier to evaluate style, quality, and price point, three things that matter deeply in our work at MBI. We are always thinking about how the pieces we choose will live in our clients’ homes over time, both aesthetically and practically.

What I Found and Loved

New Voices and Emerging Brands

Atlanta Market continues to be such a wonderful place to discover smaller brands with a genuine point of view. I loved seeing fresh perspectives and thoughtful design brought to categories that have not always received the spotlight. These are the makers who bring something truly special to a space.

Beautiful Finishing Touches

What stood out most were the small details that quietly complete a room. From elegant trays and sculptural accents to tabletop lighting, mirrors, and decorative boxes, these finishing pieces add polish and personality. They are what make a space feel considered and collected, rather than simply styled.

Design That Feels Livable

What I appreciated most this market was how many pieces felt designed for real life. Softer silhouettes, comfortable proportions, and practical details showed a clear shift toward spaces meant to be lived in, not just admired. It was a reminder that good design should feel welcoming and effortless, supporting everyday moments as much as special ones.

Trend Highlights Worth Noting

A few things I left especially excited about:

Elevated Everyday Pieces

Accessories that were once purely functional are being reimagined with thoughtful design and approachable price points. Items like wastebaskets, tissue holders, trays, and bathroom accents are now pieces you actually want to leave out and style.

Texture Everywhere

Texture showed up in more subtle and sculptural ways this market. Ribbed ceramics, woven details, pleated shades, and layered finishes added dimension without overwhelming a space. These tactile elements bring quiet interest and personality, creating rooms that feel visually rich while still maintaining an overall sense of calm.

Warm and Natural Materials

Warm, earthy palettes continue to lead the way. Clay tones, honeyed woods, soft beiges, and gentle golden accents appeared throughout the showrooms in vases, decorative objects, textiles, and furniture. Paired with hand finished ceramics, soft leathers, brass accents, and natural fibers, these materials create a sense of warmth and ease that feels timeless, grounded, and truly livable.

There is always inspiration to be found at market, but this year I left especially energized by the quiet details. The pieces that complete a space with warmth and texture that feels both modern and lasting.
