Festive for the Fourth

The Fourth of July is the perfect opportunity to blend festive celebration with effortless style—especially when it comes to interior design and outdoor entertaining. Whether you're hosting a backyard barbecue or a chic patio dinner, this holiday invites bold colors, playful patterns, and Americana-inspired touches. From red, white, and blue table settings to fresh summer recipes and cozy seating areas under the stars, creating a stylish, welcoming space sets the tone for a memorable celebration.

I appreciate a simple recipes, just like anyone else, so I'm sharing a few of my favorite ways to spruce up the table without much prep or any cook time!

Below, I share two easy recipes to bring to your Fourth gathering!

Festive Flag Skewers

Ingredients: mini marshmallows, raspberries, blueberries, skewers

Steps:

1. arrange raspberries and marshmallows in an every-other pattern (we used 7 in the photo)

2. for 5 skewers, arrange blueberries halfway up the skewer with raspberries and marshmallows

3. serve on a white platter

   
   

Berry-Filled Bundt Cake

Ingredients: premade bundt cake (we like Anything Bundt Cakes), mixed fresh berries

Steps:

1. set premade bundt cake on a cake stand or plate

2. layer fresh berries in the middle and overflow onto the top of the cake for decoration

I love the summer season and the Fourth is a holiday full of gratitude, energy, and patriotism towards our country! I love the theme of colors and patterns and the American emphasis that every detail brings. Have a safe and fun Fourth!
