This project was such a treat to design. We revamped the living room, dining room, entry, and added a breakfast/game table. I loved working with the layout of this home and the focal point staircase. Such a stunner! It also happens to be in one of my favorite neighborhoods in the DSM Metro. For an inside look at this project, keep reading!
The Entry
For the entryway, we wanted a simple statement that was functional and beautiful. It's the perfect spot to drop your keys or sit down and pull your shoes on. The organic hair on hide rug provides something unique and neutral in a rather colorful spot. Blue and orange pair together so beautifully in design and ew love the way it shines here. Mixed with deep browns and tans, we love the way it turned out!
The Dining Room
This dining room received a great dosage of design! We added wallpaper, new lighting, new furniture, and a new rug to complete this space. It tuned into a wonderful spot to host and have on display as you enter through the front door! The draperies are especially unique to point out. We layered a trim and a tape on the edge for an extra layer of drama and glam.
The Living Room
Orange and blue really shine here, especially against the white and grey upholstered furniture. Speaking of upholstered, have you ever seen bookshelves that has been covered in velvet fabric? We LOVE the look of this and are so happy we got to use this in a project. Another fun feature are the cocktail tables. This living room has two! Since its a longer space, we opted for the places to rest your feet. One of upholstered and one is your classic wood finish!
The Breakfast Nook/Game Table
Our client wanted a nice little spot to have a table and we had room for it! I love the design of this space, especially the beautiful chairs. The backs and inside of the chair are a different fabric and we just love it!
