An Orange & Blue Summer Brunch

Taking a pretty wood patio set and turning it into the perfect setting for a summer brunch is as simple as creating a cohesive color palette, adding patterned accessories and having fun with the menu.


The decor we chose was a mix of things we already had on hand. Orange pillows and throw blankets paired beautifully with a set of French blue china. We anchored the table settings with woven rattan chargers. We arranged all of the orange food down the center of the table like a runner.


A menu of bagels, oranges, jello, wafer cookies and clementines made for a citrus-y and sweet brunch.


Rethink your serving ware. Since showing off the orange hue was a big part of the tablescape, keeping things in clear or white serving pieces let the colors pop.


Go a little unexpected with the colors and flavors on the table — it’s a fun way to delight and surprise guests.
